Delayed Entry Program

Dallas has joined the DEP with the Marines. Yesterday he was at MEPS in San Diego and by late afternoon, he swore in. We are proud of him but dealing with many mixed emotions. He will succeed wherever God calls him but we will surely miss him if he is far from home. He still has the possibility of ROTC at CBU so we will wait patiently to see what God has in store.

Oh wow Debbie, that one picture where you are in the background!!! Oh man, that spoke loads to my heart. A mother's heart as she watches her son move into his future. Oh man... that got me. What a journey of waiting for you all. And you know I am praying with you all along the way. I truly love you all!

The moment we know our child is "coming" ... we raise them for this day. BUT it comes way too soon according to our timeline. Jason and Debbie you have raised one of America's finest young men - and what a privilege it is to introduce him as our Grandson!
Promising him the gift of prayer ... God has and will use Dallas in people's lives as a fork in the road which we pray will result in meaningful life here and eternity to come. We love you all so much.
