As Selah's third birthday is approaching, I can't help but think of her birth mother and the sacrifice she made in giving her up for adoption. I am so grateful for my daughter and can't imagine life without her. I believe God placed in my heart a passion for adoption at a very young age. My family traveled to Mexico with our church's youth group to put on a VBS. The poverty struck me at a very deep level and even then I wanted to bring one the kids home with us. Jason and I discussed the option of adoption before we were married and it is so amazing to see how God answered our requests by bringing our daughter from Guatamala. As we wait, yet again, for another child we ask that you pray for God's perfect timing. Bulgaria is moving slowly and this is a test of our patience. I have to remind myself often that God will work things out how and when He desires and why would I question Him. The video below is beautiful.
