Day 4 and 5 with some Extra Pictures from the Week

More memories of Guajome:  daily beach trips, campfires, Glow Stick Bowling and Ring Toss at night, silly campfire games, fellowship with friends.  The boys get to stay one more day with Val and I took Macy and Madi to our house for the night.

Day 3: Guajome

The majority of our group took a bike path from our campground to the beach. Round trip, they biked 24 miles.  I stayed back with the girls and Sawyer, Addie and Caleb.  I'm enjoying the amenities here at the campground: playground, walking paths, and the beauty of trees and a lake.  After another trip to the beach, Val made dinner and the kids did skits while we enjoyed a fire. They were hilarious.  It's wonderful that they all get along so well.

Day 1 & 2: Guajome Camping Trip

We are at Guajome Regional Park, camping with the Wallace and Hixson families.  The dad's are all at home because they have to work, however they did help us get setup.  This camping trip allows us to get out beach trips in as it is very close to Oceanside.

Saying Goodbye Stinks!!!

Today was a tough day.  Our beloved "Taffy" has been sick and diagnosed with a tumor.  She has been getting more lethargic and the decision has been made to put her to sleep and out of her suffering.   We said goodbye with lots of tears.  She has been an amazing dog!

Jeanne and Hyatt's 70th Birthday

These two don't look or act like 70 year olds.  We celebrated Jeanne and Hyatt at the Hartman house for a BBQ and then headed to the beach to play in rhe ocean and watch the sunset.  We are so very thankful for the gift of loving parents/in laws and grandparents to out kids.

Day 12

We are heading home.  It will be a Long couple of days on the road but worth it for the memories made this trip.  Traveling with toddlers has had some challenges but we survived and we've been blessed along the journey.

Day 10 and 11: David and Karen's Wedding

We arrived in Eugene, Oregon on Thursday to attend the wedding of my nephew David.  We always enjoy spending time with my brother, Denny and his family.  He has been my mentor and role model.  Many friends and family attended and God was magnified and glorified throughout the whole time.  The gospel was so clear at the wedding. Denny officiated the wedding.  It was tricky because everything was translated to spanish as at least half of the congregation were spanish speakers.  I am beyond proud of David and Karen's testimony and  purity and thankful that they have set the bar high.
