Introducing: Sawyer Lee

Psalm 66:1-5 Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of His name; give to Him glorious praise! Say to God, "How awesome are Your deeds!" All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name. Come and see what God has done: He is awesome in His deeds toward the children of man. There is so much to say, yet the words I write cannot convey how God has blessed us. A miracle has occurred and we are the recipients of it. There is no other explanation other than God through His mercy and grace granted us our desire and gave us another son. His name is Sawyer Lee and he was born on March 18, 2013 at 10:51 a.m. weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces and 19 inches long. He is such a beautiful baby and we are so grateful to God for His gift of Sawyer and thankful for the huge sacrifice and love of his birth parents. We are enjoying every moment with our precious family. To God Be The Glory, Great Things He Hath Done!!!

Pool Time

These are the days that I love Southern California and I love homeschooling. I think the kids would agree that homeschooling has its benefits, especially when their mom has spring fever and wants to be outside all day.

Happy Birthday Providence!

On March 10, 2005 Little Miss Providence entered into the world. She has been such a joy to raise. She is talented, motivated and hardworking, kind, loving and obedient. We celebrated her birthday with family and friends. After breakfast in bed and worship time at church, we had the party. The highlight of her day was receiving a gymnastics mat from Grandpa Hyatt and Grandma Jeanne.

Early Birthday Present

Providence is turning 8 on the 10th of March. Nana and Papa decided to let her see open her present a day early. She has been dropping hints for a couple of months regarding the "need" for a larger bike. Well, she got her wish! She has been busy today riding around on it.

MOVIE NIGHT !

Home Instead hosted a private event for our caregivers at the old Hemet Theatre. We watched "Avengers". The weather was not ideal so the turnout was less than then planned. Our office staff made the popcorn and handed out drinks and candy. It was loads of fun!

Habitat For Humanity 5K

We ran our second 5K on March 2. The Hixsons and Grandma Jeanne joined us. The kids did amazing and Brayden could've won the whole thing if he had wanted to. I am really enjoying jogging. I never thought I would want to run but I can honestly say that I love exercising outside as well as training as a family. It is so good to have an attainable goal and see improvement in our endurance. I can't wait until the next one.

FEBRUARY FUN!

I blinked and February was over. Here is a brief list of some of the things that filled up the month: Wild Animal Park Field Trip, camping and ice skating with the Hixsons, Game Night, Sleepovers, and Valentines and Birthday Celebrations. It was fun and now we are ready to enter spring time.

Disneyland

On February 16, my mom turned 70 years old. She does not look her age. She is beautiful and has amazing talents. Just the two of us got to spend the day at Disneyland. The weather was perfect and the lines were short. We had a great time. I am so thankful for my mom. She has been the model of a Godly mother and wife.

BRACES!!!

It's hard to believe that my 7 year old daughter has braces. She will need two phases of braces. The first phase will last for 10-12 months and the second will occur after all of her permanent teeth have come in. Providence claimed that getting braces on was like an early birthday present. She sees them as "teeth jewelry". Every month when she gets them tightened, she will pick new colors for the bands. She looks all grown up with them on.
