This achievement was extra special because only 15% of the kids in CAP make this rank.  Great Job, Dallas!!!

U S Virgin Islands

Jason and I spent 6 days at a beautiful resort with 50 other Home Instead  Franchise owners.  We slept in every morning, ate exquisite food, went ziplining, snorking, kayaking and touring St. Thomas and St. Johns Islands.  It was a much needed respite and time to enjoy each other's company.

Happy New Year 2017

We have no pictures to show but we enjoyed a few hours at the Holbrook house for New Years Eve and then drove to L.A.X to pick Dallas and Steven up.  We look forward to all that God has in store for us in 2017.

Winter Raptor I Oregon Encampment

Dallas had the opportunity to go again to Oregon for a CAP encampment.  This year, however he got to be on staff.  He had some important responsibilities like finding teachers for some of the classes and setting up the field trips.  His friend, Steven also attended.  Uncle Denny attended the graduation, took the boys to see the rest of his family  and brought them to the airport. 

Christmas 2016

This Christmas was similar to others in the past.  The 4 older kids were involved in the  Cornerstone Christmas program.  Brayden had a speaking part in 3 scenes, Selah had a solo and Dallas and Providence sang in choir.  We participated in the parade, enjoyed family festivities, helped at the Be A Santa to a Senior Wrapping Party, the girls had a piano/violin recital, we caroled with Fellowship Baptist friends, and tried to focus on the true meaning of Christmas amidst the busyness.  We are blessed beyond measure.
