We left Hemet yesterday and are making our way to Branson, Missouri. The kids have done great so far. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Cracker Barrel in New Mexico. We are missing Dallas as he is in Indiana at a Search and Rescue Training Camp for CAP. We will be meeting him in Missouri.
Providence and I spent the weekend going through the program, Passport to Purity. We first went to Painted Earth to paint a unicorn and coffee cup. A girls weekend wouldn't be complete without shopping. After a delicious Italian dinner, we went to the hotel to listen to several CDs regarding Gods design for marriage and the importance of sexual purity. This program is amazing. Saturday was spent listening to more CDs, seeing Despicable Me 3 in the theatres and eating at the Old Spaghetti Factory.
Today is Sawyers 4th Birthday!! This little guy loves life, loves people, and loves dinosaurs. At his party, we played, "Pin the Tail on the Dinosaur", searched for dinosaur eggs, went on a Dino hunt,and put on Dino Tattoos. Shannon Eaton made an awesome cake for him.
My little girl is not so little anymore. Wow, 12 years sure goes fast. We celebrated her birthday in a very "girly" way. Sharalee used her artistic talent and put makeup on the girls. Providence requested My Life Dolls and accessories for her gifts and she got her wish. We ate chocolate cake and fruit, opened gifts, ziplined and then headed to Rainforest Cafe for some great food and fellowship.
Sawyer and Selah are taking horse lessons once a month with the Holbrooks. Today was their 1st day.
