One of our Family's New Year's Resolutions was to run in 2 5K's this year. We chose to run in a foam run that had 22 obstacles. The obstacles consisted of mud pits, blowup slides, rope courses, ect.. Tim and Sabrina joined us as well as our friend, Luke. Unfortunately, Providence couldn't run because of her knee and Dallas was at a CAP event.
Another wonderful Mother's Day spent with family has passed. I'm so thankful to be a mom to 6 amazing kids. I'm also so thankful for my mom and mother-in-law. My kids got me lots of candles, bath and body soap and spray and Jason gave me a gift card for a massage and shades for our patio. I feel very loved!
Brayden, Providence and Selah all sang in the Spring Worship Concert for Lightforce and Kids Praise Choirs. They all had solos and did an amazing job. It was a God honoring worship service.
Selah received the highest award at Kids Praise, Musician of the Year. This is awarded to an excellent vocalist, instrumentalist, and student who is obedient and respectful. We are so proud of her!
Brothers!!!! One brother, whose name won't be revealed, but starts with "D", chose to "show" a headless rattlesnake to Providence. In her haste to run away, her leg got caught on a chair and she twisted her knee and fell. After a trip to Urgent Care and an X-ray, we were sent home. There is no fracture but they are referring her to Ortho for further evaluation. Despite her discomfort and very little sleep, she agreed to sing her solo tge next morning during the Lightforce performance. (Wheelchair and all)
