Well, our summer vacation is over and we are beginning our new school year. Here are some updated stats on my kids.
Dallas is 12 years old and going into 6th grade. His best friends are the Hixson, Meyer and King kids. His favorite color is gray and he loves to eat pizza. He is not sure what he wants to be when he grows up but he would like to get his pilot's license and fly as a hobby.
Brayden is 10 years old and going into 4th grade. His best friend is Hunter Hixson. He would like to be a "singer for God" and work at HISC. His favorite color is red and favorite food is Lobster Bisque.
Providence is 8 years old and going into 3rd grade. Her best friend is Macy Hixson. She would like to own a shoe store and be a dance teacher at Shine when she grows up. Her favorite food is Corn Chowder and she like the color purple.
Selah is 6 years old and is going into 1st grade. Her best friends are Parker and Cooper Hixson. She wants to be a gymnast when she grows up. Her favorite color is pink and she loves to eat rice, drink soda and eat pizza.

The Ochoa Wedding!
What an honor for Providence and Selah to be flower girls in Sammy and Megan Ochoa's wedding. This couple loves the Lord and is devoting themselves to full time ministry. We are so happy that God brought them together and know that He will use them to do great things for His glory.

Best Picture this Summer!
This was sent to me by my mother-in-law Jeanne who I greatly respect. This is hilarious and I had to archive it. "Well, you will be happy to know that BECAUSE I work out my upper body strength saved me from drowning! Thought you would like to see this picture of Grace!"
In Loving Memory of Mick Marchese
On August 5, 2013 my cousin Mick Marchese went to be with the Lord. He died after a long battle with brain cancer. He is the husband of Lori and father of Mason and Brenden. He will be greatly missed by so many. This is not the outcome that we prayed for, however we know that he is in heaven and enjoying the presence of Jesus. There is great comfort knowing that he trusted in Jesus Christ to save him from his sins and that we will one day see him in heaven.
Brayden's Birthday
Brayden has officially entered the double digits. My sweet little boy turned 10 years old. Brayden loves to watch movies. There isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't talk about his favorite movies or movies that he wants to see. He enjoys making his own movies as well as listening to music. For his birthday, he requested to have donuts for breakfast, see Smurf's 2 with his family and his best buddy Hunter and also eat at the Rainforest Café. We had a wonderful day celebrating. Brayden has a very giving heart so it was a joy to be able to give to him. His favorite gifts were remote control cars, Legos and Twizzlers.
Summer Fun
Favorite Summer Memories: Swimming, $1 movies at the San Jacinto Regal Theatre, gardening, campfire in our backyard, Knotts Soak City, ice-blocking with STEM group, singing day at Shine, Beach Trip with the Hixsons, Deb and Val's Homeschool Planning weekend in Palm Springs, visiting the Hartmans in Carlsbad, hanging out with both sets of grandparents, lots of Lego Building, relaxation, and serving with our small group at Valley Restart.
July 4th
I am backtracking here as it is already August and there are many pictures that I want to post. On July 4th, we went on a Jeep Ride to Idyllwild with the Hixsons and then spent the evening at the Petersens house. We went swimming, had a BBQ and enjoyed
the fireworks in the comfort of their backyard. It was such a relaxing, pleasant day.
